The role of the Senior Business Planning & Analysis Manager is to provide Sandoz South Africa with analysis, reporting, forecast and finance support, and will provide insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the CFO and management team.
Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Financial planning activities including driving Target, Forecast and Outlook process for South Africa market and the legal entity (export markets), focus on Full P&L (Sales, Gross Profit and TFCs (Total Functional Costs), headcount monitoring and planning as well as working capital and Management Cash Flow.
- Business partnership and performance monitoring for commercial functions, Sales (Public and Private), RX Marketing and OTC as well as Supply Chain and other function financial support.
- Month, quarter and year end closing and reporting activities, including journal preparation, month end reporting and analysis of key figures.
- Financial Compliance activities according to SFCF (Sandoz Financial Controls Framework)
- Collaboration with Cluster and Regional Finance (BPA) teams to drive process simplification and optimisation

Role Requirements
Education: CA(SA) Chartered Accountant (South Africa)
Languages: English
Experience
- Significant (5-7 years) experience in auditing, financial reporting or management accounting, with record of strong BPA focus
- Excellent analytical ability
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to clearly present financial data in reports distributed internally and externally
- Excellent understanding and ability with ERP (SAP preferrable) systems, as well as relevant financial reporting tools and systems
- Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Proficiency in SAP
