Job Summary
Seasoned Coverage Banker to be appointed in Public Sector Coverage Banking division. Will be responsible for maintaining and growing the National Departments Portfolio through identifying and execution of bank products including Transactional Banking (Deposits, Trade, FX, Working Capital, Card) and Investment Banking (Debt, DCM, ). Successful candidate should have a track record as a Banker with experience in leading and executing across multiple stakeholders, products and/or geographies. They will need to use their deep rooted product skills and business acumen to develop and deliver bespoke and often sophisticated Cash Management and Debt solutions to key clients across the National Department Portfolio
Job Description
- Drive innovation for new revenue streams by coordinating teams across the firm.
- Develop and implement strategic plan for sales ensuring that ambitions to grow share of primary banked market are met through clear targets and rigorous pipeline management.
- Strategic pricing discussions
- Negotiate and close stand-alone sales.
- Ensure that all client follow up activity including call reports, letter, RFP responses etc are produced to a high standard in a tight time frame and that all stakeholders are fully informed.
- Proactively build an internal and external network that will facilitate the generation of client leads (e.g. Industry/Cash Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Industry seminars etc
- Maintain high personal visibility with key influencers within the bank and externally, promoting credibility of self and the businesss growing capabilities.
Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
