Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases tailored to meet the specific needs of the automotive industry.
- Create and optimize advanced SQL queries for efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
- Lead database architecture and modeling efforts to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for seamless data integration across various systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database functionality into software applications within the automotive ecosystem.
- Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and fine-tune database performance through query optimization, index tuning, and configuration adjustments.
- Generate reports and provide data analysis support for business intelligence purposes, with a strong emphasis on Power BI utilization.
- Lead data migration initiatives, ensuring seamless transition and data integrity across different database environments.
- Create and manage stored procedures, functions, and triggers for efficient data processing and automation.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an SQL Developer in a relevant industry, with a strong focus on data management.
- Proficient in SQL query writing, database design, and data modeling.
- Expertise in SSIS for ETL processes, with a demonstrated track record of successful implementations.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for advanced reporting and data visualization (Advantageous).
- Experience in database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
