The Senior Director of ERP and Finance Platforms is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial software platforms. This senior-level position involves developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy to optimize business operations, enhance financial decision-making processes, and drive organizational growth. The primary responsibility of this leader is to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure available, scalable, and reliable business experiences. The role should drive increased capacity to innovate and expedite the value add to our business. This includes management of all design, build and release activities associated with the relevant portfolio. They are responsible to ensure the team delivers and executes in alignment with solid Technology principles and practices.

SAP Strategy and Governance:

• Develop and execute a forward-looking strategy for the organization's SAP systems.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on major ERP-related initiatives and investments.

Financial Platform Leadership:

• Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial software platforms, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
• Oversee the integration of financial systems with the ERP environment.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of financial platforms and make recommendations for enhancements.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Build and lead a high-performing team of ERP and finance technology professionals.
• Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.

Vendor and Partner Relationships:

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements, and partnerships to optimize technology services.
• Ensure vendor compliance with agreed-upon standards.

Strategic Planning and Innovation:

• Develop and communicate a long-term technology strategy for ERP and finance platforms.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Compliance and Security Assurance:

• Ensure ERP and finance platforms comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive financial data.

Financial Oversight:

• Manage the budget for ERP and finance technology initiatives, including cost forecasting and optimization.
• Track and report on technology-related expenditures.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Extensive experience (10 - 12 years) in senior leadership roles overseeing ERP systems and -finance technology platforms.

Required Experience:

• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational development skills.
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial software platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Expertise in financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant certifications in ERP systems or finance technology.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP and finance solutions.
• Strategic business acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with broader organizational goals.
