To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferable.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in expediting and logistics management.

Extensive cross border experience.

Proven track record of successfully leading teams and improving logistics operations.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Creating own expediting and logistics databases and implementation models.

Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Expediting and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing strategic logistics plans to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Overseeing the expediting process, ensuring on-time delivery of goods and materials.

Managing a team of logistics professionals, providing leadership and guidance.

Maintaining and optimizing the companys internal fleet.

Negotiating contracts with suppliers, carriers, and logistics service providers.

Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.

Monitoring inventory levels and recommending improvements in inventory management.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve communication.

Continuously evaluating industry trends and best practices to enhance logistics operations.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
