PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The strength of our Centers of Expertise (CoE), as part of Customer Success, is to analyze customer solutions with 360 view on relevant components including application, database and technology, as well as engaging a strong back office support for every customer engagement, providing Expertise on Demand, instant resolution of top pain points and fast access to best practices/information plus instant quality assurance of recommendations and the improvement plan.
In the role of a Senior/Export Support Engineer Logistics (Architect/Solution Architect), depending on your experience, you will work in the Center of Expertise (CoE) with focus on S/4HANA and as Logistics Architect. Your experience in several logistics modules (MM, PM, PP, QM, SCM, EWM/TM) will assist you deliver services for every aspect of customers' software implementation, transformation or upgrade project, as well as on operations, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer.
Our team primarily focuses on assessing SAP S/4 HANA solutions incl. functional and technical design, performance critical processes, assessment of implemetation, monitoring during testing and GoLive, planning the digital transformation.
EXPECTATION AND TASKS
According To Your Experience, Strengths And Customer Needs, You Will Conduct Some Of The Following Tasks
Your role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. You need very good Application and process knowledge as well as implementation skills, and you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects
- Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients
- Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
- Analyze business processes including root cause analysis and technical performance optimization
- Implement and Optimize Extended Warehouse Management/Transportation Management processes and solutions in an S4HANA environment
- Act as trusted advisor to help plan and execute projects and transformations in the logistics space.
- At least 10 years of SAP Application implementation experience or support experience for the Expert Support Engineer Position, 7 years for the Senior Support Engineer Position in several of the following modules: PM, PP, MM, ARIBA, EWM/TM, SD to work as E2E Logistics Architect
- Business Process Design and Implementation
- A minimum of 5 full cycle SAP implementations for the Expert Support Engineer Position, a minimum of 3 for the Senior Support Engineer Position
- Strong solution know how in one of the following areas: PM, PP, MM, ARIBA, EWM/TM, SD
- vast experience in 1 or across several supporting/manufacturing industries like Oil&Gas, Automotive etc. is
- University degree in computer science, business information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent
- Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems
- Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner
- Willingness and ability to travel to customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to translate customer requirements into solution design and implementation
- Programming Skills (preferable SAP ABAP and SQL Script)
- Technical Skills in Database Technology (preferable SAP HANA DB)
- S/4HANA Logistics Implementation Experience
- Experience with Transition from ECC to S/4HANA
- Travell:0-70%
