Senior Financial Controller

A leading medical business based in Johannesburg, is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This individual needs to have a wide range of knowledge relating to budgeting and forecasting, controlling and reporting projects.

Senior Financial Controller Duties:
* Examine financial statements and all figures align.
* Prepare, review, and analyse weekly and monthly operational/turnover reporting.
* Prepare, review, and analyse weekly and monthly cash flows forecasts.
* Ensure the accuracy of the data disclosed in financial reports.
* Analyse financial statements and question the in-country finance teams on their financial figures periodically.
* Develop an understanding of the company's business.
* Assist and support the Financial Controller Manager in the Business Case review and analysis
* Build up financial KPIs to bring lights on the business and ease management decision.
* Help in improving existing financial reports and in creating new ones (such as, but not limited to sites P&Ls).
* Ensure monthly performance reporting on P&Ls and Balance sheets are completed
* Develop and review all accounts up to financial statement level
* Ensure data disclosed in financial reports are accurate

Senior Financial Controller Job Requirements:
* Degree in Finance (B Com: Accounting or equivalent) is non-negotiable
* 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role
* Sage Intacct or Meditech knowledge advantageous
* Experience within the international or healthcare industry is ideal
