The role will be to manage the end to end IT integration activity from due diligence to final integration of an acquired organisation, and all the steps in between, including detailed discovery, build out of all requirements for the acquisition, deployment and ultimately the successful integration of the acquisition onto the standard ERM IT capabilities.
This will require significant organisational and communication skills to ensure that all other stakeholders are aligned with the IT integration activity at all times.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Assists with project proposals, sizing and scheduling, resource allocation, cost estimates, and vendor contracts
- Estimates project resources, schedules, and costs, and maintain project financials (estimated, actual, forecasted) for internal and external resources
- Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project
- Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and resources (internal and external)
- Develop project charter and assure project is delivered per agreements
- Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed
- Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders
- Collects, analyses, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports
- Performs risk assessment and implement mitigation plans
- Completes retrospectives and performance evaluations timely and constructively
- Manages global project teams, objectives, time, currencies, and vendors
- Builds business relationships and fosters a positive, collaborative work environment
- Delegates to and works with the project team to effectively implement assignments
- Adheres to company governance, policy, and security controls and manages projects to the same standards
- 5+ years experience in Project / Program Management using leading project delivery methodologies
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Full project life-cycle experience required
- Lean-Agile experience a plus
- Manage multiple projects and tasks day-to-day
- Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP certified, or Agile equivalent
- Advanced MS O365 and Project skills required, including MS Project Online (PWA)
- Strong business analysis, meeting facilitation, project and time management skills, relationship management, and negotiation skills
- Proven cross-functional experience within IT and Business from end users to SMEs to executives
- Proven experience delivering successful IT integrations for multiple acquired organisations from small (40+ people) to large (1000+) sized acquisitions. Experience of divestment activity would also be useful
- Experience with ERP, master data management, time and expense management, customer relationship management, security management, resource management software a plus
