About the Role Capitec's Risk division is on the hunt for two seasoned Senior Internal Auditors! Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our financial integrity and driving strategic risk management!
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting and leading risk-based internal audit engagements in the Capitec Business Banking environment, under the supervision of the Audit Manager. You will be exposed to various business areas, stakeholders, systems and processes within Capitec.
What you will bring
- Minimum of 3 years in a risk based auditing environment
- Minimum of 2years in Data Analytics and CAATS
- Completed Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Auditing
- Completed Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Banking and/or Financial Services industry experience
- Exposure to Information Technology (IT) control testing, i.e., basic General Controls, Application Controls
- Planning, execution and completion of audit engagements
- Preparation of audit reports and communicating results to applicable stakeholders
- Follow up on previously raised audit findings
- Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders
- Co-ordinating and collaboration with team members
- Clear criminal and credit record
