Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching and learning, including higher degree supervision.
- Research and innovation.
- Social responsiveness and industry involvement.
- Academic leadership, management, and administration.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Senior Lecturer
- An MA or MSc in Clinical Psychology (NQF Level 9).
- Registered as Clinical Psychologist with the HPCSA.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching and learning experience with blended contact sessions with university students.
- A minimum of 3 years research and innovation experience with at least two publications in accredited journals and experience of supervising M-Level students towards graduation.
- A minimum of 3 years generic clinical psychology experience within a clinical practice.
- An MA or MSc in Clinical Psychology(NQF Level 9)
- Registered as Clinical Psychologist with the HPCSA.
- A minimum of 2 years teaching and learning experience with blended contact sessions with university students.
- A minimum of 2 years generic clinical psychology experience within a clinical practice.
- PhD in Clinical Psychology (NQF Level 10)
- Ability and experience to work from an evidence-based approach in Psychology.
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written).
- Demonstration of language proficiency to function optimally in the various multilingual environments of the NWU.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft office, e-mails, power point, software for data analysis).
- Ability to use e-media for teaching, studying and communication.
- The ability to work well independently and also in a team.
- Good time management and ability to work well under pressure.
