Job Purpose
The Senior Manager Digital Campaigns is responsible for driving the formulation of digital campaign marketing strategy and implementation (delivery) thereof to ensure the effectiveness of the results aligned to business requirements. The job aims to grow our business & customer base, while influencing targeted consumers or businesses to choose Nedbank's products and services in order to achieve specific measurable business and marketing objectives. The job leads the creation of compelling digital marketing campaigns that are creative, targeted, measurable and produce quantifiable results.
Job Responsibilities
Develop & Execute Enterprise-wide Digital Campaign Marketing Strategy
- Provide input to 3-year business plan and Integrated Enterprise Marketing Strategy.
- Support the develop of data driven KPIs and objectives in measuring digital campaign marketing contribution to ROMI.
- Develop, design, manage, and implement ongoing digital multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Develop digital marketing strategic direction and recommendations that provides tactical opportunities, aligned to business goals/objectives.
- Support agency or internal production team to deliver digital marketing campaigns on target within due date, budget and according to scope and requirements, while ensuring quality and alignment to stakeholder expectations. Collaborate to ensure the quality of the creative brief and briefing process.
- Develop work with creative teams that is on-strategy against optimisation tactics.
- Evaluate creativity in the context of briefs; effective business solutions; & marketplace impact and dynamics.
- Create, develop and manage effective digital marketing and social media strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Ensure the understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, PPC, native advertising, email marketing and online reputation management, crossing into areas as integrated campaigns.
- Work with agency strategy, development and creative teams to ensure strategy and messaging align with integrated digital marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to the establishment of the digital marketing ways of working, guardrails and governance frameworks, SLAs and communicate these across marketing pods.
- Attend and participate in the relevant governance forums to enable the digital campaign marketing chapter capability.
- Collaborate with digital commercialisation, strategy & marketing excellence chapters.
- Leverage actionable insights and formulate optimisation tactics, including use test cases for improved performance results.
- Contribute to the strategic direction & KPIs with agency partners to establish key campaigns for stakeholders objectives aligned to owned channel vision.
- Monitor & evaluate overall digital platform performance to understand insights & identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal team to ensure ongoing performance improvements.
- Support the delivery of the Digital Marketing Insights Hub agenda across the marketing chapters.
Provide advisory role to Missions
- Advise & ensure the execution of the digital marketing campaigns to missions and BAU.
- Drive 'Test and Learn' opportunities as part of campaigns or projects.
- Develop productive relationships with marketing centres of excellence and various teams to drive effective digital marketing campaign tactics.
- Work with cross functional squads as a Traveler expert.
- Provide mentoring, development and performance management to the team to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage and track team KPIs and output, reporting weekly on performance and escalations.
- Ensure that the team is fully compliant at all times.
- Develop a creative, customer-centric, data-led, and innovative digital campaign marketing team and culture.
- Oversee the execution of the digital campaign marketing team members development to meet strategic and personal goals.
- Support agency or internal production team to deliver digital marketing campaigns on target within due date, budget and according to scope and requirements, while ensuring quality and alignment to stakeholder expectations. Collaborate to ensure the quality of the creative brief and briefing process.
- Attend key internal and external status sessions/ stand-ups
- Keep track of campaign marketing jobs across the various Clusters.
- Qualification: Advanced Diploma/ National 1st Degrees
- Field of Study: Marketing
- Certifications: Digital Marketing Certification preferred
- Total number of years of experience: 7 - 10 years
- Management experience as part of the above years: 6 - 7 years
- Type of experience: Digital Campaign Management in an Agency Environment/ Corporate: Project Management Delivery
