My client is looking for an experienced, highly-qualified Senior Plant Metallurgist to join their team

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide operational support to the production process

Process and cost optimization

Plant safety performance

Plant reliability and availability

Leading and support in RCAs

Achieving planned and budgeted targets (Plant KPIs)

Ensuring service level agreements with downstream customers are achieved

Liaising with upstream and downstream plants

Be the plant representative on different forums

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

B-Eng. Degree (NQF 8/10) in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering

Preferably completion of a Management Development Program

Experience & Requirements:

6 Years applicable experience

SAP PM and PS will be an advantage

Good general knowledge of safety

Computer literate
