Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop a product vision for 1-3 years ahead.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap showing key milestones.
- Evaluate the business value of a variety of epics to select and prioritize the top ones.
- Product Development:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Understand the steps in the software development lifecycle and ensure seamless execution.
- Implement Agile principles and the Scrum framework to drive product development.
- User Research and Testing:
- Conduct user interviews, testing, and research to gather insights and feedback.
- Perform user research and testing personally to ensure products meet user needs.
- Source and analyze data to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment of product goals with business objectives.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Use insights to shape product strategy and differentiate offerings.
- Product Management: Demonstrated experience in senior-level product management roles.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term product vision and strategy.
- Agile and Scrum: Proficiency in Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- Data Analysis: Strong ability to source, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisions.
- User Research: Experience in conducting user interviews, testing, and research.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Several years of experience as a Product Manager.
- Previous experience in the Payments industry is highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in the fintech space will be a significant advantage.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of the software development lifecycle and technical aspects of product management.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile methodologies and familiarity with Scrum framework.
