We focus on delivering systems in line with regulatory requirements with smart monitoring, operational efficiency whilst supporting the business through self-service to achieve its strategic goals.
Purpose
Our Team is looking for a Senior Product Owner. Reporting to the Product Manager, the successful candidate will, as a member of the Product Team, be required to effectively lead and execute the product portfolio and related activities across multiple backlogs, as well as manage cross dependencies through collaboration with other Product Owners and Technology Teams.
Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Data Science and within Engineering Teams (including Project Management Office) to deliver high quality products, features & services for our customers, meeting our business goals.
- Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including product planning, testing and release.
- Work closely with our customers and the markets to understand their needs and gather feedback on product features.
- Define and prioritise product features and requirements based on stakeholder input in line with WSJF framework.
- Develop and maintain the product backlog that align with the Product roadmap and company's vision and strategy.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimise product features and drive user engagement.
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate product vision and status to all stakeholders.
- Continuously assess and improve product processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and maintain excellent Stakeholder relationships.
- Assist with product /system/process documentation to support Users and Business continuity.
- Lead and inspire the Scrum team to instill quality, encourage innovation and reduce defects by being abreast of incident themes and downstream impacts.
- Provide leadership in managing projects and resources to ensure maximum value added to product enhancements.
- Develop expertise and serve as subject matter expert for designated product areas.
- Gather requirements and specifications for software enhancements.
- Conduct gap analysis between feature requirements and existing application functionality.
- Demonstrate product enhancements to business by way of product roadshows.
- Prior experience as Product Owner.
- 24 months relevant working experience in Technology Support Services Product Ownership.
- Knowledge and experience of working with Agile Scrum delivery methods.
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence
- Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to the Combiined F and Organizational Culture
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Systems).
- Previous relevant experience within an Operational Risk Management, CRM, Verification systems development environment.
- Experience defining, prioritising, communicating a product roadmap across an organisation.
- Understanding of standard Software Development life cycle for enterprise software applications.
- Understanding of standard Software Development Team roles and responsibilities.
- Experience of Agile Lifecycle Management Tools.
- Understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks as well as Agile methodologies.
- Commercial experience working in a Software Development or Digital environment.
