Location: Bellville
Salary: Up to 400k - Negotiable depending on experience
Minimum Requirements:
- A relevant HR Degree/Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within recruitment preferably headhunter experience
- Strong sense of urgency with a positive impact on delivery
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service focused
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Experience in MS Office suite
- CBR interviewing techniques
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Financial Services and call centre experience advantageous
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of theories and methods associated with general HR Practice areas;
- Knowledge of theories and methods associated with specialist recruitment practice areas;
- Sound knowledge of legal aspects of HR (BCEA, LRA, EEA, etc.);
- Business & organization understanding;
- Knowledge of Project/Programme Management Principles;
- Knowledge of e-Recruitment.
The key performance:
Relationship Management
- Establishing positive relationships both internally and externally (E.g. Universities, Employment Agencies) to ensure effective communication, networking and benchmarking opportunities,
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HRBP’s to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs.
- Ensure that the hiring manager and HRBP are kept up to date with progress of recruitment initiatives in their respective businesses
- Mentoring of Human Resource assistants
Recruitment and Selection process
- Delivery of the entire recruitment process (including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and placement of successful candidates),
- Manage and negotiate the offer process and ensure that all relevant and required documentation and information is completed and signed off,
- Ensure that the recruitment and selection process followed are aligned with company policy and procedure
- Provide professional recruitment support and advice to line and HRBP’s on recruitment and selection best practice and effective sourcing e.g. creative identification and utilization of alternative sourcing channels i.e. LinkedIn
- Proactive identification and research to identify potential candidates,
- Regular report back on resourcing metrics,
- Involvement in defining and shaping the recruitment strategy
- Ensuring the delivery of a superior, consistent candidate experience (in alignment with the company’s brand)
- Continuously analyse trends related to sourcing, recruitment methods and industry practice
Candidate sourcing
- Perform searches for qualified candidates, using a variety of sources i.e. networking, social media, recruiting firms, internet recruiting, employee referrals
- Actively network and generate talent pool and pipeline of talent
- Maintain the candidate database
