As a Senior Research Consultant in our Johannesburg office, you will be part of a team of enthusiastic marketers and researchers that are determined to empower people to shape the future of brands. Through your passion for data and consumer insights, you will inspire marketers of cool companies. You will work on marketing analysis and consulting projects based on extensive quantitative and qualitative market research data, working closely with other Research Consultants, Research Directors and Project Managers across our offices.
Your Responsibilities
- Initially, your focus lies on data analysis and full reporting: based on gathered market research data, you conduct analyses and co-design insightful reports with actionable recommendations that support our clients in their strategic decision-making process.
- You will work closely with Research Managers and Directors who will coach and train you, and you will also be in close contact with clients to deliver high-value content and services.
- Depending on your interest and evolution, you will be involved gradually in the complete set-up, organization and execution of market research studies.
- You will build experience and gradually become responsible for complete methodologies (e.g. sampling, survey design, etc.) and gain project management responsibility.
- You will gain experience and knowledge in a broad range of marketing domains (e.g. product innovation, branding, etc.) by means of on-the-job training as well as explicit training in the Human8 Academy.
- You will be supported in developing commercial client contacts, and in due time you will develop and maintain a client portfolio and get account management responsibilities.
You have 3+ years experience in market research and a solid marketing interest. You are fluent in English (verbal and written).
