About the Role:
This hybrid position, based in Cape Town with a manager in the UK, provides key support to our global travel consultants, trip execution, finance, and product teams. You'll play a key role in crafting unforgettable memories for our guests.
Key Responsibilities::
- Assist travel consultants with booking diverse travel elements (hotels, activities, etc.) in our 70+ international destinations.
- Ensure booking accuracy and quality through checks and alternative arrangement assistance.
- Collaborate with suppliers for confirmations, pricing, availability, and accessibility needs.
- Identify trends and suggest improvements to enhance guest experience.
- Use various booking platforms and lead team tasks.
- Quality check travel consultants bookings to ensure the highest standards of accuracy.
- Identify and report operational issues (tech, process, people).
- Achieve company metrics and targets, including team training and mentoring.
- Support manager with various tasks, clearing backlogs, and analyzing reports.
- Serve as point of contact during manager's absence.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Experience supervising or managing a team.
- You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. This entails strong listening skills and the ability to convey information in a structured, clear, and concise way.
- Ability to handle challenges and crises calmly, with a warm personality, emotional intelligence, and strong social skills.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to change, with strong dedication, self-organization, and attention to detail.
- Extensive experience in a similar support role.
- (Optional) Knowledge of international airfares, airlines, and GDS (Amadeus).
