Job Summary: The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing and growing sales and market share of the company’s product offering, covering all tools & equipment and engineering consumables.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identify prospective customers and buyers.
- Identify key accounts to achieve agreed targets and budget.
- Achieve sales targets against specific price lists in accordance with divisional strategy and set budget.
- Maintain a regular calling schedule with company’s branch representative to customers.
- Build and maintain a good relationship with customers.
- Service existing clients regularly.
- Attend to and resolve customers’ queries and complaints timeously.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Technical trade or relevant qualification
- Computer literate
- Driver’s licence
Experience
- 5-10 years’ experience within the Tools & equipment and Engineering consumables
- Mining background would be advantageous.
- Must be able to calculate discounts, profits, etc.
- Strong negotiable skills
