The role will ensure that PepsiCo WECA associates and businesses benefit from effective, prevention-oriented, and sustainable security and readiness programs that mitigate risk to our people and assests, while facilitating business objectives in complex security environments. The role will identify and focus on threats posed by crime, civil unrest, extremism/terrorism, armed conflict, business espionage, corruption, product diversion and insider threats.
Responsibilities
The principal accountabilities of the WECA Senior Security Manager is driving the implementation and execution of security, crisis management and business continuity management strategies, plans and protocols, and best practices across the Sectors businesses. These accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- In line with the broader AMESA/EUR security strategy, implement a BU-wide security plan to identify, assess and mitigate reasonably foreseeably security risks to PepsiCos People, Business and Objectives.
- Oversee and facilitate the ongoing strengthening of a sustainable, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning and capability program.
- Through training and audit validate that the BUs Crisis Management and Business Continuity program and plans are current and functional.
- Maintain strong working relationships with, and provide consultation to, BU leadership teams.
- Plan and oversee security risk assessments and annual security reviews at BU sites to identify critical vulnerabilities and to assist in closing these risks through cost-effective, best practice security enhancements.
- Analyze security threats and risks inherent in undertaking new business ventures and offer risk-based mitigation measures.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with national and local security, emergency response, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities as well as with security directors of other large multinational companies.
- Deliver a BU-aligned security CAPEX plan that ensures effective security spend.
- Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs.
- Advise and assist before, during, and after security incidents, including on-the-spot risk assessments and security advice to business travelers.
- Implement a strategic plan to strengthen the protection of our supply chain.
- Conduct and coordinate investigations to include counterfeit, extortion, contamination of our products, loss reduction, kidnapping, robberies, Speak Up, fraud, corruption, and security threats against the Sectors interests and associates.
- Ensure the continued professional development of the Sector security team, to include the identification of suitable individuals in longer-term succession planning.
- As necessary and required, support the Corporarte Security Executive Protection program by providing pre-travel logistical assistance and direct operational support to impacted members of executive leadership when they are present within the Sector.
- A minimum of a university-level Bachelors degree (or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of the ISO 31000 Risk Management standard.
- Working knowledge of the ISO 22301 Business Continuity standard.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of direct security experience in the public and/or private sectors.
- Comprehensive, substantive expertise of best security practices and principles.
- Advanced, proven broad executive skills and experience in security management, risk management, protective services, investigations, and law enforcement.
- Capital and operational budget formulation and administration.
- Excellent working proficiency of written and spoken English
