We currently have a great opportunity for a Senior Solicitor to join us on a permanent basis. As a Senior Solicitor you will be responsible for the day to day management and development of the area/department and its employees by setting, reviewing, monitoring and improving the targets and activities carried out thereby ensuring that business objectives are met.
- Do you possess extensive PQE experience relevant to the delivery of a comprehensive in house legal service to internal customers?
- Do you have admission as a Solicitor in England and Wales or are a member of ILEX?
- Do you have the ability to work independently exercising good initiative and judgment?
- Are you able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets?
- Are you experienced in interpreting and analysing information and identifying action required?
Some of the key results for the role include:
- To take responsibility for management of your own caseload comprising a variety of general property and land law matters including, but not limited to, residential and commercial conveyancing transactions and drafting transfers, leases and other property related documents
- To provide support and to deputise for the AD Legal Services and lead on complex and/or substantial matters for the AD Legal Services and/or GC and Group Secretary as required.
- To provide legal support to internal Peabody customers in both contentious and non-contentious matters including providing legal analysis on policy, procedure and corporate business.
- To positively represent Legal Services and proactively contribute to cross Peabody working groups/forum.
- To contribute to the achievement of Legal Services service delivery strategy and Peabodys business objectives.
- To play an active role in the provision of Legal Services training programme.
