Job Purpose
To steer and support the optimization of the day-to-day operations of product fulfilment through increased operational control operational efficiency and improved client experience. To drive a digital culture shift, innovation, and optimization of Generic processes through digitization. Ownership of compliance requirements to minimize operational risk and identify and mitigate risk by adhering to the risk framework principles and ensuring sustainable business through alignment of business structures, systems, and processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the required change intervention to deliver on client solutions implemented to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Track, maintain, visualize, and report key performance (operational and financial), risk, control indicators to relevant reporting structures.
- Ensure a gold-standard client experience by executing on functional capabilities (including KPIs) that meets client expectations whilst deploying existing resources (systems, time, people) in innovative ways by reviewing and enhancing business work methods to improve efficiencies by focusing on standardization and automation for the product portfolio.
- Foster innovation by driving and meeting client growth demands by identifying efficiency opportunities through digitization, process optimization and efficient service delivery for relevant product portfolios.
- Collaborate with CIB Transactional Services Product and Digital (by leveraging unique product SME knowledge & experience) in optimizing and investing in key technology, systems, and processes to continuously drive productivity, synergies, future opportunities, and efficiencies as per the agreed product priority backlog.
- Ensure an effective control environment based on regulatory compliance, risk management, market conduct and other business process obligations to ensure alignment with independent audit controls.
- Ownership and accountability for addressing any audit findings, risk items and general items for product portfolio.
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Administration
- 7+ years experience in Financial Services focused on Middle Office, Support Client Operations.
- 3 - 5+ years experience in leadership role
