Job Purpose
To deliver world class Green building technical services to the Property Finance, as well as for providing internal and external stakeholders with Green and sustainability expertise and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical advisory to clients and internal stakeholders on IFC EDGE Certification, green buildings and green buildings strategies
- Analyse and model building information using the EDGE App for both certification and building analysis.
- Applying knowledge of the EDGE/ Green Building certification to guide both external and internal stakeholders in the decision-making process.
- Collaborating with the Clients professional team to create a green building roadmap for current and future developments.
- Responsible for EDGE and Green Building initiatives that are either implemented or PoCs with the aim of adoption within the business and for clients.
- Scope the market, internationally, for leading IFC EDGE and Green building innovation that can be adopted in the built environment.
- Enhance the green and sustainable reporting with technical metrics during development.
- Keep abreast of the changing landscape in sustainable building certifications and facilitate training and development for internal stakeholders as well provide the relevant technical input in terms of reporting metrics for green buildings.
- Entrench PF as an industry leader in EDGE Certifications and sustainable building practices.
- Advise on and monitor all sustainable elements on the building during construction.
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Professional Qualifications/Honours Degree
- IFC EDGE Expert certification
- IFC EDGE Auditor certification would be advantageous
- Green Star Professional Accreditation would be advantageous
- 5-10 years experience in the financial sector.
- Experience in Green/ Sustainable buildings.
- Successfully taking a project through certification would be advantageous
- Management/ Leadership experience would be an advantage.
