Role Purpose/Business Unit
To analyse network performance, conduct site planning, optimisation, and customer care.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Conduct Radio Network Planning, provide motivations for RF design solutions, integration, and post implementation verification of 2G/3G/4G/5G sites, (Greenfield, Rooftops, IBS, Small Cell, CEs, and Special Events).
- Ensure planning tool and databases are accurate at all times.
- Manage all customer related queries until resolved. Supporting Customer Care, VIP Escalations, PM, Property and EBU/CBU departments.
- Conduct drive tests, provide analysis, and implement solutions on major routes, centres as well as customer queries.
- Conduct statistical root cause analysis. Investigate and resolve all network quality faults received from network quality, network performance, CIC, management and the NMC.
- Matric Certificate essential
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant cellular networks experience essential.
- Valid Drivers Licence essential
- 3-year Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Degree is advantageous
- Computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
- GSM Knowledge GSM, UMTS, LTE & 5 knowledge, Network components Analysis tool (e.g., Actix, Sonar, Atoll) Statistical tools, Sonar, Atoll
