Key Performance Output
The successful candidate would be reporting to the Manager Building and Facilities Maintenance and will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible to ensure execution of maintenance and capital related projects within area of expertise.
- Input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the asset.
- Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure.
- Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets.
- Manage Service Level Agreements
- Ensure compliance to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
- Provide input to and manage allocated budget.
- Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
- Contract Management
- People and Stakeholder Relations Management.
- Preparation of scope for tender and as well as sit as part of the cross functional evaluation team.
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- 3 years Bachelors degree (360 credits) in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Construction Management or Industrial Engineering is essential.
- Relevant 5 years of operational infrastructure maintenance experience.
- 1 to 2 years of project supervisory experience is recommended.
- Registration will ECSA will be advantageous.
- Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
