What You'll Be Doing
Responsibilities: * Workforce Planning: - Pro-actively identify gaps. - Assist in the development and compilation of a labour budget for different business units based on specific assumptions. - Propose and implement changes necessary to cover workforce risks to company. - Assist line managers with the compliance of EE/BEE targets. - Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. * Assist with Employee Life Cycle: - Facilitate the process of the compilation of job success profiles. - Determining appropriate media or methods for attraction of suitable candidates. - Short-listing of candidates in assistance with line-managers. - Arrange interviews. - Initiate and co-ordinate psychometric assessments. - Effective facilitation of exit procedures. - Offer/ source staff well-being solutions, actively seeking ways of supporting the management of workplace stress. * Employee Relations: - Advise line management and employees on labour legislative matters. - Assist management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. - Assist in dealing with workplace conflict through the introduction of an effective mediation service. - Co-ordinate and facilitate disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures. - Accountable for all employee relations documentation. * Performance Management: - Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management. - Assist with the adherence to the performance management timelines. * Perform general HR administration.
