Job Description
At the Rosa Service Organisation you will:
- Engage with our User Researchers and Service Designers to identify user needs and journeys, and to understand the problems users are trying to solve.
- Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your products.
- Support them with outline business cases, service definitions and plans to progress them through the phases in our product lifecycle.
- Work with colleagues across the organization to gather the evidence required to get your products approved at our fit for purpose assessments.
- Own and actively manage your product backlogs, supported by relevant Architects and Technical Leads, through the creation of epics, user stories, tasks, and bugs.
- Define product management information and performance metrics and analyse this information in order to present it to colleagues and senior management.
- Engage with partners to scope their new business requirements and provide product-related consultancy to internal and external teams.
- Produce support documentation and training materials to make it easy for your users to understand how to use your products.
- Support the management of our portfolio of products by attending regular portfolio level meetings and contributing timely updates.
We will use the essential and desirable skills and experience to help evaluate technical competence.
You must have:
- Proven experience of working with User Researchers or have carried out your own user research to identify user needs and journeys.
- Used agile or lean ways of working to manage products or services for a user base with diverse needs.
- Used agile or lean tools for managing product epics, user stories, tasks, and bugs,
- Defined and realised features or products within a defined period
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of different stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
- Worked in an environment that is developing many products at once with limited resources.
- Worked in an environment where your work fits into a larger programme or portfolio.
- Managed a product through a defined product lifecycle.
- An agile or lean product or project management qualification.
- Worked in an environment where you as a product manager are
- A proven ability to manage and work with third party providers and technical subject matter experts, challenging where necessary.
