About the job

Service Support is a key department, arranging the support infrastructure behind a customer order in order to deliver the service purchased.

Service Support are tasked with removing any risk to service, building the customer specific support model, and ensuring the customer, NSC Service Desk and internal departments have all the necessary tools to use and deliver the service successfully.

Our key aim is to collate all the necessary service requirements, customer, asset & inventory data required to deliver a seamless service. During the transition phase we rigorously check all data in order to identify any missing information or anomalies. We then work together with the other departments in order to rectify highlighted issues.

A successful candidate will be motivated, have an excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.

    • Answer internal departmental service requests
    • Manage, organise, and update data
    • Upload data into the Navision/MSD
    • Update issues log and close outstanding issues where possible
    • Proactively clean-up data; archiving expired data, work with Client Services Managers to gather missing information
    • Internal/external order processing
    • Financial tasks; raising Purchase Orders, receiving POs, authorising invoices, providing margins
    • Communicate and provide information by relevant methods, both internally and externally
    • Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others

    • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to work with raw data, vlookups
