SHE Coordinator

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the Safety, Environmental and Fire Protection aspects of the business, under the direction of the Operations Manager. The incumbent will also assist with security related aspects from time to time.

Qualifications

Matric Certificate with Maths (Maths Literacy is not sufficient);

National Diploma: Safety Management;

B-Tech Degree in Safety Management will be advantageous; and

Diploma in Environmental Management will be advantageous.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Safety and Fire Practitioner and in an industrialised environment;

Fire Fighting experience;

First Aid Level 3

Registration as a Construction Safety Officer would be advantageous;

Member of the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health;

Own Transport is essential;

Travel Flexibility: Travel to other regions/branches;

Callouts to emergencies occurring after hours possible;

Microsoft office Competence.
