Shift Earthmoving Mechanic x 2

Qualified Diesel Mechanics needed with extensive knowledge of heavy earth moving equipment for positions in Brits, NWP.

Must have Komatsu, CAT, Bell & Volvo machinery experience.

Job Functions

• The ability to do fault finding
• Must be able to work with the minimum of supervision
• Must be computer literate

Educational Requirements

Grade N2 N6

Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Technician

Experience

5+ years experience POST trade, of heavy earth moving equipment / Dozers, excavators etc.

Physical Requirements

Medically fit

Other

Operators Testing Licence / Certificate / Safety Conscious / Drivers License / Site Induction

Job Description

• Conduct maintenance by working to best practice, specifications and SOP to ensure availability
• Repair breakdowns by working to best practical specs to ensure machine availability
• Overhaul components by working to OEM specs, using spares as provided
• Supervices assistants by allocating work, check quality and maintain discipline.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety requirement by working to all relevant standards
• Perform general tasks by adhering to any reasonable instructions
• Adhere to the MHSA and Regulations, OSHACT, COPs and SOP.
