A Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations during a specific shift at a workplace. Their job purpose typically includes the following key responsibilities:
- They manage and oversee the work of employees during their shift, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes assigning duties, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
- They are able to perform well in a high intensity stressful environment
- They are able to supervise a team of up three members effectively to maximise the service levels to the highest possible standards.
- They are able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to be developed in supervision.
- They are expected to attend various development training session in order to qualify for the rank of Site supervisor 1.
- They are able to compile various security related reports including CCTV review reports
- Grade B - Psira registered and up to date
- Grade 12
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Previous Supervisory experience advantageous
- Comprehensive knowledge of basic software such as MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Outlook and the Hikvision CCTV control client.
- Report writing skills - compile reports/reviews
- Work well within a team
- Leadership and Conflict management skills
- Good Physical condition
- No Criminal record
- Good health
