Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Fishshop Manager. The successful candidate will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of our fish shop, ensuring a high level of customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of the fish shop, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Assist in training and supervising staff members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the products and equipped to provide top-notch service.
- Work with the senior manager to analyze sales trends and develop strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh, high-quality seafood products.
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing initiatives to attract new customers and build brand loyalty.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
- Matric- Tertiary Qualification will be advantageous
- Previous experience working in a seafood or food retail environment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Knowledge of seafood products and preparation techniques is a plus.
