Shopper Insights Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Shopper Insights Specialist who will conduct in-depth research and analysis to uncover shopper behaviors, preferences, and trends. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to manage your schedule while delivering actionable insights that inform our marketing and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shopper Behavior Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to understand shopper behaviors and preferences. Utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to gather and interpret data from various sources, including surveys, focus groups, and retail data.
  • Trend Identification: Identify emerging trends in shopper behavior and retail environments. Provide insights and recommendations based on trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer data to uncover motivations, attitudes, and purchasing patterns. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for marketing and sales teams.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor strategies and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats. Provide insights that enhance our competitive positioning.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings and strategic recommendations. Present insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and retail partners, to align shopper insights with business objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in shopper insights, consumer research, market research, or related fields.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field. Advanced degree (Masters) preferred.
  • Research Skills: Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including survey design, focus groups, data analysis, and ethnographic studies.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present research findings and strategic recommendations effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate shopper insights into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
