Introduction
We are looking to recruit a Skills Development Facilitator to work within the Learning & Development department of Clicks Retailers. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Skills Development Manager.
Job Description
Main Purpose
To co-ordinate and submit the workplace skills plan and annual training report with a view to maximise skills development grants in line with the National Skills Development legislation and the Group Transformation agenda.
Job Objectives
- To build relationships with the business units in order to provide support and guidance.
- To annually assist the business units to identify learning and development needs in order to develop the workplace skills plan.
- To identify trends based on the needs analysis and provide appropriate recommendations in order to ensure alignment with the Group people plan and Transformation agenda.
- To co-ordinate and submit the workplace skills plan and annual training report in line with SETA requirements and timelines.
- To monitor and report on progress against the workplace skills plan in line with SETA and business requirements.
- To identify opportunities and implement projects for the business to maximise skills development rebates and grants.
- To implement quality management standards and principles in order to maintain the Groups accreditation as a learning and development provider.
- To conduct monthly audits on learning and development interventions in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Group policies.
- To act as the contact person between the SETA and the business units in order to provide skills development advice.
