Our client is looking for a talented and motivated CA(SA) to join their team as the Head of Finance. This company is an innovative and dynamic company that boasts a robust global presence.
As the Head of Finance, you will take on complete responsibility for the finance function and lead the shared finance team that sustains their diverse international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight, ensuring the achievement of financial goals and objectives.
- Manage and oversee financial consolidations, with a particular emphasis on international consolidations, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assume full ownership of the finance function, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Leverage technology expertise to manage financial matters in a technology-focused organization.
- Lead and manage the shared finance function supporting their international operations.
- Participate in fundraising activities, collaborating with various stakeholders to secure necessary funding for organizational growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and optimize intercompany transactions for tax efficiency.
- Work on group tax structuring and planning to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial performance.
- CA (SA) with at least 3 years of post-article experience is essential.
- Experience in financial and international consolidations preferred.
- Familiarity with technology finance is advantageous.
- Strong financial regulations, reporting, and tax knowledge.
- Market rate: between R800k - R1mil per year
