Duties and Responsibilities
The core function and scope of the Social and Digital Marketer is to:
- Manage the social media platforms for: USN SA, U Movement/Body Makeover, USN Schools and KETO
- Manage Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)
- Brief necessary content in for designers
- Ad creation / Boosting
- Manage and execute paid advertising for all social media platforms
- Work collaboratively with the brand team strategizing and executing campaigns and collaborations
- Prepare and submit monthly social and advert spend reports
- Run and plan monthly competitions
- Event coverage for social (Live streaming)
- Organise photoshoots for content and ambassadors
- Engage with ambassadors to promote the relevant content
- Actively search for influencers
- Engage with the online community
The ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Marketing Management.
Experience and Requirements
Demonstrated experience with:
- Facebook Blueprint certification
- 5 + years experience in content strategy
- 5 + years experience in paid social media campaigns
- Proof of previous campaign set ups and management of accounts
- At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Social and Digital Marketer
- At least 3 years of content strategy and planning experience
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
- Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Good personal presentation
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Good commercial and business understanding
