Social Impact is primarily a sales and partnerships team, with annual revenue goals and a start-up environment. Embedded in the New Product, International, Enterprise, Social Impact (PIES) Team, under Global Operations, Social Impact seeks out funding opportunities, responds to RFPs, researches and tests engagement best practices, convenes National coalitions and reports outcome data to funding partners and organizations.
The Social Impact Specialist is responsible for supporting the funding partner experience by ensuring data and information produced by systems and processes is consistent and accurate, enabling the business to make decisions based on data-driven insights. Reporting directly to the Director of Social Impact, the Social Impact Specialist will develop and maintain data sources and dashboards, allowing the department to operate in an efficient and compliant manner. In addition, they will provide administrative support to the PIES team in delivering a world-class experience for our growing social impact and pilots community.
Key Role And Responsibilities
- Update data sources where automation is not available
- Perform routine audits to ensure data integrity within multiple systems
- Analyze data sets and compile findings in a straightforward, accessible manner
- Liaison between departments to provide system support and fuel cross-collaboration
- Identify areas where Standard Operating Procedures are needed and work to provide documentation in these areas
- Partner with the assigned business unit leadership to provide strategic consultation on various areas, including performance management, engagement, development, efficiency improvements, and organizational effectiveness.
- A genuinely passionate, curious individual contributor with a strong track record in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBEEE), or Social Impact (including community engagement, workforce, and philanthropy).
- Adept at nurturing relationships with funding partners to ensure information is easily and readily shared.
- At least 3-5 years of operations experience
- Must be adaptable, organized, thrive in high pressure environment
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Experience with Excel (or Google Sheets) working with large, complex data sets including the use of formulas and functions
- Ability to use basic reporting functions in various systems (such as Salesforce, Greenhouse and Canvas)
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau is a plus
- Experience working in a fast paced sales team environment and managing priorities with minimal supervision a plus
This role typically works 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM local time with breaks throughout the day. Travel as required.
