South African National Council for the Blind invites applications from qualified individuals for a Social Inclusion Support Officer in Northern Cape (Kimberly).
The Job:
The purpose of this position is to work as a personal assistant, provide administrative as well as driving duties.
The person:
Work with a visually impaired Social Inclusion Officer and the visually impaired community at large.
Drive the Social Inclusion Officer to and from meetings and projects.
Assist the Social Inclusion Officer with administrative duties. Be prepared to drive long hours within the province, to national office as well as other provinces.
In addition to the above mentioned, be willing to render services to the provincial office of the SANCB and the national office.
Requirements:
Grade 12, Knowledge and experience in administrative duties,
Certificates in Community Development or relevant qualification
Knowledge and or experience of working as a personal assistant, two years driving experience, Code 10 with PDP.
Experience and or knowledge of working with visually impaired people will be an added advantage
