In this role you will develop and execute the brand's social strategy to raise awareness and drive engagement with both consumers and businesses. This is an extremely unique opportunity to leave your mark and build a huge social following for brands across the globe.
You will lead, support, and strengthen our clients customer-facing voice across social media channels, with a focus on audience development, consumer engagement and paid campaigns. You will create campaigns to amplify content to promote brands within many different industries. You will also develop influencer programs to help build brands with consumers. You will be our social storyteller that personifies all of DarkMatters values externally in fun, engaging, meaningful, and thoughtful ways.
Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain DarkMatters social media channels daily
- Develop the voice and personality of DarkMatters clients on social channels to prospects, our target retailers, and their millions of shoppers
- Develop influencer programs, social contests and consumer giveaways with our Customer Marketing team
- Be a brand advocate in social channels with customers, partners and, consumers
- Create compelling content to engage our communities and fans
- Partner closely with our internal teams and agency partners to deliver content and programming built for social; ensure all work aligns with the brands visual aesthetic and tone of voice
- Collaborate on communication strategies
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to build social programs to create prospects from existing and upcoming content
- Monitor and analyse conversations across key social media channels to prepare monthly reports to update the business on insights and opportunities. Lead the development of our social influencer strategy and ensure that it is aligned with the customers brand and reflects the trends and attitudes of the brands customers.
- Find opportunities in our existing social media channels, as well as exploring new channels
- You get social - personally and/or professionally
- 2+ years prior experience building your followers, followers for a brand or company You can put together a social media strategy and create compelling content
- You're as comfortable on LinkedIn as you are on Metas suite.
- Passion for social media space and fuelled desire to innovate and achieve audience development goals
- Proven success in building a following and engaging with influencers to build a brand
- Direct experience developing and optimising social media campaigns and strategies
- Deep working knowledge of social media channels, including management of performance-based paid social advertising campaigns
- Experience with social media monitoring tools and platforms
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with departments
- Comprehensive understanding of best practices standards for all social media channels including and not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Solid analytical skills and experience using data to drive actionable insights and decision-making. Ability to collaborate well with DarkMatters partners, influence without direct authority, and build strong relationships across teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate complex program, processes, recommendations, and data to audiences across functions, teams, and organisational levels
