Job Summary: SMD Technologies is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to oversee the daily operations of our social media presence. The ideal candidate will manage our social media designers, develop engaging content, and drive our social media strategy across 27 brands. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a knack for analytics, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Management:
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the social media designers.
Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality content creation.
Ensure alignment of all social media content with brand guidelines and strategies.
Conceptualisation
Develop and brief monthly posts for 27 brands, totaling over 110 posts per month.
Create comprehensive content strategies, themes, and detailed briefs for designers.
Provide relevant product information and ensure content aligns with brand goals.
Planning:
Coordinate with product managers monthly to integrate new products into the content plan.
Stay updated on social media trends and generate engaging captions.
Schedule all posts across various social media platforms.
Community Management:
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions daily across all social media platforms.
Monitor community interactions and address negative feedback promptly and professionally.
Paid Advertising:
Create, monitor, and optimize ad campaigns for each brand.
Allocate and manage the advertising budget across different brands and campaigns.
Analytics and Reporting:
Analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, CPR) for all brands.
Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance.
Adjust strategies based on insights and performance data to improve results.
Giveaway Management:
Organize monthly giveaways of selected products in collaboration with product managers.
Manage the entry process, select winners, place orders, and ensure timely shipment of prizes.
Influencer Relations:
Identify and reach out to potential influencers.
Coordinate campaigns with influencers and ensure their content aligns with brand guidelines.
Procure products internally for trade exchanges with influencers.
Industry Monitoring:
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform social media strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the technology or retail sectors.
Proven experience managing multiple brands on social media.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
