This role is your creative canvas, where you'll strategise, craft, and unleash inspiring social media content that showcases the latest trends and hottest homeware. Keep a keen eye on market trends, master the latest tools, and report on campaign performance like a boss.

The successful candidate will take charge of Influencer management, be a content ideation maestro, churning out fresh, room-revamping visuals, magnetic written content dripping with design inspiration, and show-stopping video reels that'll have viewers itching to redecorate. Canva will be your trusty sidekick as you design eye-catching graphics that make people double-tap in awe. Scheduling and reporting? You got this! Bonus points if you have some experience with paid social sorcery to target the home dcor aficionados.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for creating, developing, and managing creative social media campaigns across all platforms, including the generation of visual and written content.
  • Regularly create and post engaging content such as short video content, reels, scene shots and monitor its impact.
  • Grow and sustain online followership through well-strategised plans and consistent content production.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers to create captivating content that enhances customer engagement and sales.
  • Be on top of social media trends, incorporating them into our content and strategy as suitable.
  • Monitor competitors' and overseas companies' social media strategies.
  • Analyse engagement data and report to senior management on the efficacy of content and social media campaigns.
  • Develop an understanding of customer expectations based on past social media activities.
  • Oversee the community management of social media channels, ensuring an engaged online community through timely and thoughtful responses to customer inquiries, regular interaction, and the cultivation of a positive brand image.
  • Use Social Media analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social etc.) to track progress on all platforms and for reporting purposes.
Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:
  • Bachelors Degree in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role.
  • Content management experience.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing content, including video and graphic content.
  • Proficiency across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • Influencer management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media best practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software, including but not limited to Photoshop, Canva and CapCut, is required.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong ability to analyse statistics and data to generate insightful reports.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and keyword research an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop a unique voice for each social media platform.
  • Agile.
