We are a large format branding and printing company looking to add an experienced and creative social media marketer to our team.
Job responsibilities:
- Developing & Implementing Social Media Strategies
- Increase our online presence
- Improve and enhance marketing and sales strategies
- Planning, implementation and monitoring of company's social media profiles
- Increase brand awareness and generate leads and sales via social media platforms
- Combine Graphic Design, Social Media management and Marketing skills to architect and enhance our company's online presence
- Must be able to interact and communicate with our clientele
- Promote brand-focused interactive, engaging and relevant up-to-date content
- You must be innovative and think out of the box
- Conceptualize in conjunction with stakeholders on innovative social media campaigns and the roll out of the same
- Define and apply social media KPI's
- Analyse and report back on social media campaign results/feedback
- Stay up to date with relevant and trending social media best practices and technologies
- Optimal use of social media tools
- Work alongside design & copywrite teams to ensure legality and appeal of information
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales and Product development teams
- Assist with the hiring and training of future Social Media Marketers
- Ensure brand consistency on social media platforms
- Collect customer data and create comprehensive reports in order to improve future marketing plans and campaigns
- Report progress to senior marketing staff and management
- Increase brand visibility and awareness on existing platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Research and monitor activity of industry roleplayers
- Create and circulate e-newsletters, update web page and blog content as well as respond to social media messages
Job requirements:
- A diploma in communications or marketing or relevent field
- 2 - 3 years of experience with social media management
- Experience in marketing, graphic design, content creation, web design, copywriting, data collection and analysis
- Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Must have knowledge of social media platforms
- Graphic Design capabilities accross all platforms, DTP, Brand CI, colour and media profiles
- Understand and have knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with conducting audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPI's
- You must be a go-getter, innovative, creative and able to multi-task
- Critical thinker, with problem-solving skills who can work under pressure
- You must be a team player but also able to work independently with good time-management skills
- You must be of sober habits and reliable
- Reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and surrounds
- Must be available immediately
