TransUnion is looking for an experienced social media specialist to join its global marketing team. The role will primarily focus on delivering US campaigns across organic, paid and advocacy programs. The ideal candidate, a digital native, will have exceptional writing skills, superior attention-to-detail and a clear understanding of B2B social media best practices, across the different media social networks.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in a social media coordinator role within a marketing team providing support to leadership and other team members.
- Bachelors degree in marketing or business or equivalent work experience.
- Proven expert experience in copywriting and editing for social media content.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing organic and paid social media campaigns.
- In depth knowledge of popular social media platforms and their respective algorithms and best practices.
- Effective communications skills with the ability to present information in a visual, organized manner.
- Experience with at least one social media management tool (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Demonstrated skills using social media tools for scheduling, reporting and audience listening.
- Experience analyzing audience ethnographic insights, determining what matters to large networks of social media audiences, and generating comprehensive social media campaign reports with actionable recommendations.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to make decisions to move initiatives forward.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Develop and execute tailored social media campaigns across US markets supporting the global social media and TransUnion marketing teams.
- Grow TransUnions social media presence through organic, paid and advocacy, positioning us as a source of relevant company news, insights and updates.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the success of social media campaigns.
- Generate insightful reports on social media key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations.
It is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa and will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.
A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line in order to work effectively.
