Social Media Specialist manages global social media initiatives, creates engaging content, monitors online audience, and drives engagement to enhance Foundever's online presence with a goal to attract top talent and support recruitment activities.
About The Job
Reporting to Digital Hub Manager, this role works closely with the digital marketing specialists, marketing, employee experience and TA teams to develop and implement global social media strategies in order to boost recruitment objectives.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Implements global social media strategies, follows brands guidelines and EVP to support recruitment objectives
- Creates and sources high-quality, platform tailored and engaging digital content across various formats with a focus on attracting potential candidates and driving them towards conversion actions
- Identifies the pain points in social media recruitment funnel and drives action
- Manages and monitors social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Tracks and analyzes social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
- Builds a monthly content calendar across channels
- Plans and hosts live streams
- Conducts competitive research to benchmark Foundever's social media presence and identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation
- Monitors online conversations and sentiment related to Foundever, addressing any negative feedback or concerns proactively
- Ensures all social media leads sources are correctly accounted in all key system registries
- Schedules posts through our third-party tool (or natively)
- Participates in seasonal campaigns, following our global and local engagement calendars
- Builds weekly/biweekly/monthly recruitment data reports to communicate results, insights and overall performance
- Increase of audience and community growth

- Increase in candidate applications attributed to social media efforts
- Growth in brand awareness and engagement on social media platforms of campaigns
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.) and best practices
- Experienced with social media content to reach potential candidates
- Understanding of recruitment marketing and employer branding concepts
- Top-notch content creation skills: taking pictures, recording videos and basic editing
- Ability to network, build relationships with partners from different backgrounds
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving lead generation and conversion success
- Creative and innovative thinking to develop engaging content and lead generation campaigns
Experience
Other qualifications
- 2+ years of working in social media marketing roles or similar
- Bachelor/master degree in marketing, communications, business administration or similar
- Excellent conversational and written knowledge in English
- Excellent knowledge of all MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in copywriting
- Detailed oriented
- Proficiency in using tools such as Meta Business Manager, native social media Aps, Tik Tok, Emplify
- Knowledge of AI generative tools such as ChatGPT and similar is a plus
Salary: Up yo 34, 000 ZAR per month dependent on experience(basic salary, paid in arrears)
