DVT Global Testing Centre provides a full range of software quality assurance services with a specialization in automation, mobile and performance testing. We provide testing services both on-site at client premises, as a professional or managed service or as a fully outsourced service from our testing centre.
We are urgently looking for entry level Software Testers in Cape Town.
This opportunity is for any graduate whose results reflect their willingness to work hard and are ready to make a start in their Computer Science or Information Technology career. This role will allow you the exciting opportunity to work with major clients and skilled developers and analysts as well as allow you to be exposed to new technologies and have the opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained through your tertiary studies.
Qualification:
IT Degree or National Diploma with specific exposure to JAVA and HTML
Skills & Experience:
60% and above pass for HG Mathematics in Matric without any fails
65% aggregate for all subjects completed during diploma or degree with no exceptions
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and/or C#
- MS Office knowledge
Experience with the following technologies and concepts would be advantageous:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Jira
- Exposure to Scrum
- Web services
- Mobile Technologies
- Knowledge and experience of software testing methodologies
- Ability to turn Product requirements into test scenarios
Soft Skills:
- Presentation and non-verbal communication skills
- Technical Reporting
- EXCELLENT attention to detail
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
