About the team:
Our analysts perform constant research on investments our portfolios hold, investments we are considering holding, and investments we choose not to hold. Our teams chief mandate is to provide technical solutions for their needs. Each member of our team is involved in consulting with stakeholders and other teams, designing, implementing, and supporting these solutions.
We need a software engineer with a passion for engaging with people and making their jobs easier through technology. You will be responsible for making vendor data available to other teams according to their needs, planning and creating systems to automate workflows, and bringing standards to data models across the firm.
In this role you will:
- Write code and tests.
- Design system architecture.
- Gather requirements by spending time with stakeholders across the business.
- Refine and improve our Dev Ops processes.
- Participate in the scrum ceremonies size tickets, run planning and retrospectives.
- Review code from other developers.
- Test systems and run testing in larger groups.
- Support our current services.
- A BSc or other relevant degree
- Minimum of 5 years work experience, with at least 2-3 years working with object orientated programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
- A desire to be seen and treated as an individual, rather than a job description.
- A passion for building relationships with people, understanding their needs and addressing them.
- An interest in financial and other data how we fetch it, store it, deliver it, and display it.
- Some advantageous attributes are experience in Financial Services/Asset Management, Azure technologies and GraphQL.
