We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive software products through rigorous testing and validation processes.
What You'll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on testing dealership management software, ensuring that financial modules and other functionalities work correctly.
- This role involves managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while also implementing quality assurance processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automotive software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed reports on software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software quality and testability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software QA Tester, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
- Dealership Management Systems experience preferred (Evolve, Kerridge, Autoline)
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Experience in an Accounting or Financial environment would be beneficial.
- Require knowledge on how to analyze and interpret financial reports.
- Strong attention to detail.
