We are looking for Technical QA Leads and Software Quality Engineers (Intermediate and Senior) to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Manages various technical phases within a project or multiple smaller projects with moderate scope and occasionally complex tasks.
- Overseeing personal and team time management under specific conditions.
- Crafts high-caliber scripts using preferred tools, integrating them into scenarios for testing specified non-functional use cases.
- Coordinates schedules, workloads, and resource plans, driving progress aligned with the overall plan.
- Orchestrates information gathering and reporting processes, conducting research to define issues and preparing responses for anticipated inquiries.
- Establishes traceability records, linking test cases back to requirements, and generates reports on system quality while gathering metrics on test cases.
- Develops test scripts, materials, and regression test packs for testing new or modified software or services.
- Offers detailed guidance to the team on technology application.
- Assists test management in formulating project plans and monitoring progress against key milestones.
- Cultivates a network to enhance client engagements, spanning company, client, and external professional connections.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- ISEB / ISTQB Certification
- Additional course or certification in Quality Engineering
- Familiarity with quality assurance principles, BDD, and test engineering.
- Proficiency in Java and Object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including Repos, Pipelines, and CI/CD frameworks.
- Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, Maven, Junit, and more.
