Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of our ICT strategy, encompassing business, data/information, applications, technology infrastructure integration, and security.
- Develop a comprehensive and optimized description of our enterprise, including its business entities, properties, and relationships across systems, programs, and business areas.
- Guide and oversee the integration and interoperability of our architecture domains (Business, Data, Application, Technology) in a cost-effective manner.
- Provide visionary insights to proactively shape the direction of our strategic IT projects.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, understanding their capabilities and benefits to apply them effectively within our business context.
- Recommend and contribute to the development of long-term strategic and operating plans that align with our enterprise architecture objectives.
- Lead technical design sessions, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and promoting a cohesive system design.
- Define evaluation criteria for product and technology selection, ensuring the coherence and effectiveness of our architectural solutions.
- Share best practices, continuously update technical system architecture requirements, and stay knowledgeable about the latest vendor products and solutions.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review objectives and ensure adherence to industry practices.
- Provide authoritative expertise and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders to achieve mutual success.
- Contribute to negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitoring their appropriateness, and recommending adjustments as needed.

Formal qualifications::
- Essential: Relevant Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Information Technology qualification.
- Desirable: MBA and relevant post-graduate degree.
- Desirable: TOGAF training and relevant architecture framework training/certification.
- Essential: 7-10 years of experience in technical leadership roles.
- Essential: At least 5 years of senior software programming experience.
- Desirable: Experience in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong influence, persuasion, and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in full software development life cycle and underlying IT architectures and technologies.
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, and COBIT.
