Our Water Solutions business is looking for an experienced Account Manager f/m based in Johannesburg.
Main responsabilities :
Identify and establish relationships with new customers
Manage and build relationships with existing customers.
Offer multi-tech solutions to clients across a broad spectrum of applications and advise customers on the best solutions for their challenges. This will be achieved via:
- Onsite and remote troubleshooting and optimization
- Design work using WAVE for all value centers
- Training and upgrading the skills of onsite personnel.
- Industrial Water and Energy
- Catalysis
- Pulp and Paper
- Food and Beverage
- OEMs
Maximize revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services either through direct sales or through a base of reseller partners such as dealers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, distributors or retailers.
Administer sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals. May identify and establish relationships with new customers. May locate, evaluate and recruit potential channel partners. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training, to achieve revenue targets.
Profile & Job requirements :
This role requires a motivated self-starter with a strong will to learn and solve problems independently and via collaboration.
The preferred candidate (He/She) would ideally be fluent in water treatment technologies (RO/UF, IER, MBR, MABR, CCRO) with a first experience in that field (either in sales or marketing, project management, manufacturing area...)
Graduated of a Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is preferred.
Open to travel in South Africa neighboring countries about 20% of the time.

- Works independently with minimal guidance, providing guidance to less senior team members.
- Assignments often require independent judgment and evaluation.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
