Hello an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Insure IT (Business Analysis Chapter). We are looking to recruit a Solutions Analyst
Role Objectives
Responsible for bridging the gap between Insure Business (both Commercial and Personal Lines) and Information Technology and IT Software partners. Identifying, gather, elicit and analyse business requirements and make recommendations for business solutions in an AGILE frame-worked environment. This role will also be responsible for the link between HI and IT
Key Responsibilities
Business Proposals: Interacting with all relevant stakeholders and conducting business needs and cost benefit analysis in order to build a solid Business Case for the requirements
Analyze and understand business requirements and to an extent business processes in order to identify and recommend changes and additions required to meet the business requirements, which are delivered in the form of enhancements or projects
Analyse system defects and their business impact
Functional and operational testing to ensure requirement capability
Perform efficient and effective JAD facilitation with relevant project stakeholders
Inputs and outputs of the process/system.
Business Requirement documentation: Document business requirements
Report on progress in relation to tasks and work stream against the project plan that they are accountable for
Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure project targets are met, driving agile delivery
Promote Relationship Management between IT and business
Take ownership of queries and offer possible solution to the various stakeholders / clients and ensure all are resolved and feedback given to relevant parties
Work closely with the customers to ensure the short and long-term business needs are being addressed while proactively avoiding potential issues
Required Knowledge And Experience
At least 6 years working experience in IT business analysis and/or system analysis within the financial services industry. 5 years experience in Short Term Insurance industry
Knowledge of JIRA; Microsoft systems Windows, servers, exchange, Active Directory; Cloud services Azure; iServer; SQL; API; RPA and Artificial Intelligence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound financial understanding for Cost Benefit and Financial business case articulation
Experience in system interfaces
Working understanding of managing projects & project plans
Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Business and/or relevant Information Systems course
Certification in Business Analysis or equivalent
